While Casa Serena provides a full continuum of care, this location focuses specifically on comprehensive residential treatment.
At Casa Serena, women participate in a personalized treatment plan that blends clinically proven therapies with holistic healing services. Evidence-based approaches include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), 12-Step facilitation, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Clients also benefit from art therapy, nutrition and wellness support, and yoga to strengthen both emotional and physical well-being.
Each woman receives individualized attention throughout her recovery journey, including support from a dedicated counselor who helps address co-occurring mental health conditions and develop practical tools for long-term sobriety. After completing residential care, clients can transition into Casa Serena’s upscale sober living homes and continue treatment through outpatient services for ongoing support.
Located just blocks from the Pacific Ocean, Casa Serena provides a peaceful, home-like setting where women can heal in comfort. The residence combines upscale accommodations with a strong sense of sisterhood and community, fostering connection and mutual encouragement throughout recovery.

Casa Serena Residential offers a full continuum of care, including Residential, Detox, Co-Occurring Mental Health. This allows clients to transition between levels of care while maintaining consistent clinical support throughout their recovery journey.

Clients at Casa Serena Residential participate in therapies such as 1-on-1 Counseling, Group Therapy, Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Art Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Eye Movement Therapy (EMDR), Interpersonal Therapy, Life Skills, Medication-Assisted Treatment, Meditation & Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Nutrition Counseling, Psychoeducation, Recreation Therapy, Relapse Prevention Counseling, Solution Focused and Goal-Oriented Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Spiritual Care, Trauma-Specific Therapy, Twelve Step Facilitation, Yoga. Casa Serena Residential provides aftercare planning to help clients maintain progress after completing treatment. This may include Aftercare Group Therapy, Alumni Events & Get-Togethers, Drug Screening, Family Follow-up Counseling, Follow-up Sessions (in-person), Follow-up Sessions (online), Outpatient Treatment, Private, Online Alumni Groups, Support Meetings, supporting long-term recovery and relapse prevention.
